Operators of fibre optic networks usually need more than one OTDR measurement curve to make decisions quickly and efficiently. We support you in creating processed and easily interpretable measurement reports from your OTDR measurement results. Based on your OTDR measurement file (SOR file), the lengths of the launch and receiver fibres used and any limit values, FastReporter software will create your measurement report for you in a layout of your choice.
Our fibre optic experts check each OTDR measurement file for plausibility in terms of wavelength and refractive index, correct the start and end points of the launch and receiver fibres if necessary and check the specified identifiers.
This service includes:
- Setting up measurement report layout including limit values
- Checking identifiers such as location, cable ID and wavelength. Missing identifiers are added in consultation with you.
- Check of refractive index and the wavelength for plausibility
- Marker check for start and end of measurement section, correction if necessary
- Possible correction of markers for events
- Generation of measurement report as well as checking of naming
