DIGITTRADE has been developing and producing external encrypted hard drives since 2005. Banks, companies and public authorities use the highly secure HS256S and HS256 S3 hard disks to securely transport sensitive data and to create backups that comply with data protection regulations. In addition, the HS256 S3 hard drive received BSI certification at the end of 2017.

The BSI-certified products enable authorities and companies to meet the strict requirements of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO), which has come into force, with regard to the storage of personal and sensitive data. With the help of this hard drive, various data protection-related processes can be redesigned and made more efficient.
