Training in measurement technology for fiber optic networks
At the beginning relevant basics and typical parameters of fiber optic networks are discussed to derive the reference to the purpose of the measurements. These include different network configurations, fiber types, techniques for connecting fiber optics, splitter and (measurement) filters as well as their effects on the transmission properties of the fiber optic installation link.
