New Silergy components join our product portfolio

Exciting news from our electronic component supplier Silergy! Introducing the latest additions to our diverse portfolio: four high performance products. Included are an IEEE 802.3 af/at compliant PoE power device interface with 13W high frequency PSR flyback converter (SY23212ATQQ), a high-performance multi-output APLL (SY25221QHQ), a mixed-signal programmable logic device (SY253118CVYQ) and a high efficiency 7V/6A synchronous buck regulator (SY2A26066WYQ).

SY23212ATQQ PoE Power Device Interface

This integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) powered device (PD) combines a PD interface with an optimised PSR flyback converter. As a 13W powered device, the SY23212A supports the IEEE 802.3 af/at standard. It includes detection and classification modes, a 100V hot-swap switch and the maintain power signature function. To achieve higher efficiency and better EMI performance, the SY23212A drives flyback converters in quasi-resonant mode and adaptive PWM/PFM control, with a maximum switching frequency of up to 600kHz. The internal 180V, 0.65Ω MOSFET achieves good thermal performance in a compact QFN4X5-28 package. The SY23212A provides comprehensive and reliable protection including OLP, VCC OVP, cycle-by-cycle peak current limit, internal OTP, etc.

SY25221QHQ High Performance Multiple Output APLL

The SY25221QHQ is a high performance analogue PLL with multiple output capabilities for Ethernet and processor applications. The SY25221 offers <0.15ps RMS phase jitter performance at 156.25MHz and synthesises 100MHz, 125MHz, 156.25MHz and a 33.33MHz CPU clock from a single device. Six LVCMOS outputs also provide additional buffering of the 25MHz crystal reference; 3 differential outputs support LVPECL format.

SY25318CVYQ Mixed Signal Programmable Logic Device

The SY25318C is a mixed-signal programmable logic device. Offering configurable logic, flexible control and mixed-signal generation capabilities, it is an ideal replacement for discrete logic circuits, reducing design complexity and overall cost.

SY2A26066WYQ High efficiency synchronous buck regulator.

As a high efficiency synchronous step-down DC/DC regulator, the SY2A26066 features internal power and synchronous rectifier switches capable of delivering 6A of continuous output current over an input voltage range of 3V to 7V. Silergy's proprietary Instant-PWM™ fast-response, constant-on-time (COT) control method supports high input/output voltage ratios (low duty cycles) and responds to load transients within approximately 100ns, while maintaining a near-constant operating frequency over line, load and output voltage ranges. This control method provides stable operation without complex compensation, even with low ESR ceramic capacitors. Internal 22.1mΩ power and 8.1mΩ synchronous rectifier switches provide excellent efficiency over a wide range of applications, particularly at low output voltages and low duty cycles. Cycle-by-cycle current limiting, input under-voltage lockout, internal soft-start, output under-voltage/overvoltage protection and thermal shutdown ensure safe operation under all operating conditions.
